The thesis examines the role of biases in machine learning and what practices to employ to reduce or prevent them. The goal was to apply strategic design methods to the development process of machine learning systems in order to increase awareness of biases and their consequences amongst developers and their teams.

In addition to designing and building the features, our team methodically analyzed the possible long-term effects and consequences of the product.
